March 12th in 1995, BMR members visited to the Heavy Metal Sound House which was a kind of Metal Desco in Tokyo. They were in JAPAN for the Promotion of their 3rd studio album "OPIUM FOR THE MASSES". The Sound House would come to an end on the end of the month and they were the last guests. If I remember right, the First Guest there was also BMR. What a coincidence!?
The band came into the place around 8:00pm. I was very excited and was so nervous that my hands and body were shaking when I saw them.
They were interviewed and promoted OPIUM FOR THE MASSES there. They seemed very happy. At that time, the album did not come out yet, but their words and faces explained the new album must be really great.
After that, They did a Autograph Session. 100 people could have their autograph luckly.
After the interview, the Autograph Session had started. I got so nurvous again. While I was waiting for my turn, I repeated many times what I would say to them in my mind. Finaly my turn had came. The first was Doug. I said Hi and showed him a leather jacket which had be painted BLOOD album picture on the back. He liked it and said "it's so COOL!" I got his autograph on the sleeve and I had my picture taken with Doug and Kal:)
Next was Kal. I showed him two photos of two flags which I had given them on the BLOOD tour in 1993. He remembered the flags! "They're beautifull" he was telling me and it made me really happy. Then I got his autograph on the sleeve of the jacket as well.
Then Ian. Before I talked to him, I droped my stuff holding in my hand on the floor. Ooops, I left my camera on the table and quickly picked the stuff up. As I looked up to Ian, To my surprise, he pointed my camera at me! Then he took a picture of me...strange...?! I was going to ask something, but I couldn't remember anything because of this surprising. I was close to being in a panic. So I asked him about the flags.........Then I got his autograph.
The last was Jackie. I was still saken up. Therefore I didn't remember all what I would say to him. I tryed to find any English words in my head. Then I barely said to him that he had changed his hair style and it fit him. Although I could had all of BMR members' autograph, I missed a picture taken with Ian and JackieX(
After that, I suddenly remembered what I wanted to ask Ian. I had heard that he had worn a shirt which I had painted BMR logo on and given him. The last BMR Japan Tour,I handed the shirts to each member. So I would have ask him about it and I wore the another shirt which also had painted it on for it. But it's too bad, it's too late. My turn was over. I wished Ian to notice the shirt......
A couple of minutes after, What a pleasant surprise! He found my shirt and said to me he remembered the shirt! Thank you, Ian.
At 10 o'clock, Although they're still there, I had to leave there...
